    This series is lacking....
Vivid red takes place in the near future in a time of global peace. The world revolves around the Manifestation Engine, which gives unlimited amounts of power to the rest of the world. However, beings known as the "Alone" appear and start to target the manifestation engine.

    Characters:
All the characters seemed to get-along way too damn well... With the exception of Rei, who just ignored ...

    Vividred Operation, a fun series
I'm greatly displeased at the negative reviews, but I have to remember that the majority of them are either in their teens or early twenties and so can't see anything but the surface.
Vividred Operation is NOT a rehash of Strike Witches, Because the girls didn't have any " Powers " to begin with, But they're given these powers through technology of their time, Their costume/uniforms or " ...

Not bad... but I could've done better
    Characters: 6.5/10

-I've seen all those character types before. The klutzy main character, the previously anti-social rich best friend, the tomboy, the you-look-lonely-why-don't-you-join-our-group-of-friends girl, and of course, the cool and silent enemy. (haha :P)
-Why does this remind me of the original Pretty Cure ...

    Vividred Operation disappointment
This show began really well, and I had high hopes for it after the first couple of episodes. But it's been getting worse and worse as time has gone on.

There isn't anything original about it, but that was obvious from the very first. I can look at everything that's going on and say "Uh-huh, Rei is obviously supposed to be Fate Testarossa" or "The docking maneuvers? Obviously stolen from ...

why the bad rating its a show
this is a good show and it has it good points ,,Many of you made this anime out to be a lot worse than it really is. Some fan service but not too much. I find the beautiful animation style to be very amusing and it's been a while since we've seen a magical girl anime on crunchyroll. The character development is going well as well as the story. Something new for everyone..

Typical "Magical Girl" Anime, Just Too Much Fan Service
I see quite a few negative reviews about Vividred Operation on Crunchyroll. I can understand their displeasure. The amount of "fan service" they supply in this series is a bit over-the-top. A-1 Pictures (studio behind this series) has quite a few series that focuses a little *too much* on fan service (crotch shots/bouncing breasts, etc..). This is no different and it shouldn't surprise someone ...

Generic but i love the the concepts.
While this series is generic, as pointed out by all those before me, i have to say i love the concepts created in this series. I find the engine that powers the world to be an amazing thought to prevent a global energy crisis (so long as it doesn't get destroyed) and a amazing source of seemingly clean energy (they haven't shown anything to contradict this as far as i have seen(excluding the fact ...

    Beyond the choices in taste
This one is difficult to grade for me. Some things are a bit over the top, as described in previous posts about camera angle shots, but overall it's a simple fun super girl show.
It's silly, classical everybody gotta be happy, fight the bad monster trying to break the clean energy machine the world depends on. The grandpa figure is smart, even if he is turned into a stuffed animal by forces not ...
