  • Fun and interesting SOL show
Oddly enough, I first started this show due to the gif of the Super Smash (Namo) Bros game video online. I started with season 1, and before I knew it, I was caught up with the whole series. It is definitely a fun show with some yuri inserted here and there. The first 2 seasons focus on the humor and recurring jokes while season 3 becomes more serious, more heartfelt overall. Every episode is ...

  • There's a reason for three seasons and three OVAs
No matter how much Namori-Sama is (rightfully) celebrated for her slapstick and innuendo, it's her uncanny ability to capture the nuances, and, at times, awkwardness of relationships that are her magic. The pacing is superb. Sometimes the moments of silence in the show are more powerful than the wittiest gags.

Upon this solid base provided by the brilliant mangaka, the series features an ...

  • Brang me an emotion similar to K-On, even though it's barely like it
This is something i never expected to happen, this anime made me feel the same thing K-On made me feel, i felt as if the characters where real, despite their sometimes surreal actions.
Now, for the review. The anime is indeed called Yuru Yuri ("Easygoing Yuri" according to Wikipedia), and it does indeed have slight Yuri, but everything romance in this is for comedy, there'll rarely be any serious ...

  • Too sweet will give you diabetes! :D
An anime about girls starting an amusement club in a old tea club. love this series! 2nd season was super funny. Would recommend if you like cute, slice of life anime with small Yuru yuri undertones! Characters are adorable and capture your heart immediately with their antics.

  • Let the seasons never end for this anime.
I don't really enjoy animes that have no storyline or conflict for the entire season, but this is definitely an exception. There's not one episode that has not made me laugh. I'm just glad I have the manga to read when season 3 ends. Hopefully, there'll be a season 4. I would definitely fund for it. And a season 5. And a 6. 7. 100. 1000.
The only reason why I rated this 4/5 is that it isn't ...

  • Really Funny, But Falls Short
Yuru Yuri is a girls love themed anime and taking place in middle school. There is no continuous story line as each episode has it's own conflict and resolve. That being said, the show is still entertaining but not what it could be. It falls short of other works done by the same production company, such as Plastic Memories.

  • my fave little lesbo's
it's good... like, very good. probably the best. in fact; it is the best. it's superb. full of cuties. full of gooey yuri. nothing overtly perverse; meaning more moe blobness. it's great. purely and impeccable production. just watch, don't ask, just watch.

  • A fun, light-hearted yuri anime
This was a fun show. The writers and director balanced a number of key elements to the make this a successful series, such as the amount and degree of yuri/ecchi to include and the seriousness-vs-silliness and realism-vs-fantasy aspects of the story/plot, all while keeping everything within a middle-school girl framework and dialog. To me, the episodes were non-stressful and relaxing, with a ...

  • Don't Be Fooled: This is a Parody of the Moe Genre (And Really Funny)
It actually may be a little too subtle for a lot of viewers, but Yuru Yuri is able to simultaneously satirize the "four cute girls doing cute things" genre of anime and still be a funny "four cute girls doing cute things" show in its own right. Since most series of this nature have copious amounts of implied lesbianism, this one goes all-out with overt lesbian relationships-- and then it takes it ...

    A Show About 3 Girls
The show starts off a bit shaky, as the first season tends to reuse jokes too often. Season 2 gets a lot more zany and creative (there's a time travel episode, for example). The second season is also generally funnier.

Highly recommended to people who like weird, cute shows.
