  • Let the seasons never end for this anime.
I don't really enjoy animes that have no storyline or conflict for the entire season, but this is definitely an exception. There's not one episode that has not made me laugh. I'm just glad I have the manga to read when season 3 ends. Hopefully, there'll be a season 4. I would definitely fund for it. And a season 5. And a 6. 7. 100. 1000.
The only reason why I rated this 4/5 is that it isn't ...

  • Really Funny, But Falls Short
Yuru Yuri is a girls love themed anime and taking place in middle school. There is no continuous story line as each episode has it's own conflict and resolve. That being said, the show is still entertaining but not what it could be. It falls short of other works done by the same production company, such as Plastic Memories.

  • my fave little lesbo's
it's good... like, very good. probably the best. in fact; it is the best. it's superb. full of cuties. full of gooey yuri. nothing overtly perverse; meaning more moe blobness. it's great. purely and impeccable production. just watch, don't ask, just watch.

  • A fun, light-hearted yuri anime
This was a fun show. The writers and director balanced a number of key elements to the make this a successful series, such as the amount and degree of yuri/ecchi to include and the seriousness-vs-silliness and realism-vs-fantasy aspects of the story/plot, all while keeping everything within a middle-school girl framework and dialog. To me, the episodes were non-stressful and relaxing, with a ...

  • Don't Be Fooled: This is a Parody of the Moe Genre (And Really Funny)
It actually may be a little too subtle for a lot of viewers, but Yuru Yuri is able to simultaneously satirize the "four cute girls doing cute things" genre of anime and still be a funny "four cute girls doing cute things" show in its own right. Since most series of this nature have copious amounts of implied lesbianism, this one goes all-out with overt lesbian relationships-- and then it takes it ...

    A Show About 3 Girls
The show starts off a bit shaky, as the first season tends to reuse jokes too often. Season 2 gets a lot more zany and creative (there's a time travel episode, for example). The second season is also generally funnier.

Highly recommended to people who like weird, cute shows.

  • Everything you expect
This light Yuri titled YuruYuri is an apple in a sea of leaves and branches (Unique) it has the perfect amount of comedy which made me laugh out loud, well balanced art to support their cute/sweetness and a simple soundtrack which doesn't make your head spin around, not to mention the great balanced fan-service.
It actually offers the whole apple instead of a few bits and bobs and a simple ...

  • A Very Comedic, Passive-Aggressive Yuri
YuruYuri is great in it's way. You are introduced to 3 girls and then a 4th one. The girls create the Amusement Club. Then 11 episodes later and a second season later it's just a random thrill ride full of laughs. Every episode is fantastic, and the great thing is that season 2 has things that tie in from season 1. Enjoy watching cute girls engage in "normal" activities, just don't watch ...

  • A win for Crunchyroll's random button
You can't judge a book by it's cover and YuruYuri is proof of the truth of these words.
So the first time I tried the random button it gave me YuruYuri season one episode one. It was hilarious! This wasn't the kind of anime I tend to watch. Shoujo, slice of life, middle school; these tend to be a prelude to an instant rejection; but it amused me without trying to pack in 15 jokes a second or be ...

  • I liked it, but it got boring
I shy from calling Yuru Yuri good, because while it did have good moments, it didn't quite reach that level for me.

At first, I found it enchanting and hilarious, but as it continued there was a sense of it dragging on. Many character jokes, which were at first amusing, were overused to the point of being irritating. An example would be Chitose's tendency to fantasize without her glasses on. ...
