  • This is so fun! I watch it for therapy.
Whenever I want to feel good, I watch an episode of this.

The girl crushing is funny, especially with the nosebleed voyeur looking on and the crush recipient being seemingly clueless.

But it's mainly about the situations they create and then plunk these characters into. They'll put a heartwarming smile on your face, then switch it to a comedic guffaw, then back to heartwarming, then shaking ...

  • Hilarious, and so, so wrong.
YuruYuri, translates directly to "Easygoing Lily", but translates more accurately to "Easygoing lesbians". And that's what it's about; a group of twelve and thirteen year old girls having mostly one-sided crushes on each other, with no heavy drama.
Don't be fooled though, this is no brainless or child safe slice of life show. It's really more like "The Simpsons" only not as harsh.
    The secret to ...

  • You don't need a review for this one.
If you have ever in your life, even once, gripped your heart because the cute almost gave you a heart attack, and continue existing just to experience that fleeting moment of bliss just one more time, this show will help you out.

11/10 would endure the pain of existence just to see this one show again.

  • Amazingly fun and cute
Yuru Yuri is the kind of anime you go to after watching the likes of shows like Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh. Cute, funny and charming, the show captures the look and feel of a 4-koma manga without sacrificing the very format that makes it funny.

If you're looking for lesbians here, it's unlikely that you'll find much. While there are ships present, it's still an anime about ...

  • Honestly the best thing
I've literally watched this show over so many times yet it is always just as cute each and every time. If you want really really gay. This is it. If you want super cute. This is it. If you honestly just want to not hate yourself for a little bit. This is the thing. There's lots of refs in this show, running gags/jokes, good char development, cute as hell, yuri just everywhere, it's the best. Cute ...

  • Didn't Know What Yuri Yuri was
So apparently yuri yuri is a lot of girl love. I figured that out pretty quickly after the first few episodes. The show is just pure fun, it's entertaining, there's no much to think about when you watch it and you should just be there for the ride. Expect a lot of typical anime tropes, it's all about fan service and it does it well.

  • Fun and interesting SOL show
Oddly enough, I first started this show due to the gif of the Super Smash (Namo) Bros game video online. I started with season 1, and before I knew it, I was caught up with the whole series. It is definitely a fun show with some yuri inserted here and there. The first 2 seasons focus on the humor and recurring jokes while season 3 becomes more serious, more heartfelt overall. Every episode is ...

  • There's a reason for three seasons and three OVAs
No matter how much Namori-Sama is (rightfully) celebrated for her slapstick and innuendo, it's her uncanny ability to capture the nuances, and, at times, awkwardness of relationships that are her magic. The pacing is superb. Sometimes the moments of silence in the show are more powerful than the wittiest gags.

Upon this solid base provided by the brilliant mangaka, the series features an ...
