  • AyanoXKyoko is better than YuiXKyoko fight me
YuruYuri is one of the greatest pieces of media ever to grace this glorified landfill we call Earth. No slice of life comedy series will ever be as good as this one, except for maybe another slice of life comedy series created by the mangaka responsible for this eighth wonder of the world.

  • When I'm looking for a new anime to watch I usually end up watching YuruYuri again
There isn't a single character in this show you won't enjoy. They're all wonderfully charming but with plenty of flaws to keep the interactions between them interesting. It gets you excited for the next scene where they pair up two characters who haven't interacted before, and it's always a lot of fun. I've seen this series several times and it still makes me laugh! Having the actors sing the ...

My favorite comedy show although I've seen lots of comedy stuff
    Cute: check.
    Funny: check.
Makes you feel engaged although it doesn't have much of a story: check.
    Unique sense of humor: check.
    Hilarious inside jokes: check.

I feel like this is exactly the kind of anime you can enjoy regardless of your age, gender or taste in anime and shows in general.

  • Just except that her buns are amazing.
First I love this show. I dont really put it with anything else cause its just its own thing it kinda goes in the slice-of-life shows but the light hearted yuri makes it so nice and different and there is some sort of plot (if you squint) and things happen and do change, which i love. I enjoy all the characters way to much, and the buns are amazing and i want to get a pair my self. Its cute, ...

Cute, endearing, funny - one of the best of its kind
Yuru Yuri is a show I approached pretty late, but one that I became pretty much obsessed with in no time. It is definitely one of the most enjoyable comedy anime I've seen to date, with absolutely charming and memorable cast, good animation and voice acting, fantastic music and humour that sometimes came dangerously close to bad taste, but was overall extremely funny and cheerful.

    The ...

  • Just another slice of life (Read: It's damn good)
Slice of life animes are my favourite, and YuruYuri is no exception. From the characters and how they all interact with each other, to their mannerisms it's a very well put together anime, and definitely worth a watch if you are in to slice of life anime.

    A Fantastic Show!!!!
I highly recommend this show to anyone who is thinking of watching it. The characters are all great and will definitely grow on you. I'm really hoping for a season 4! It is certainly worth your time to check this show out. There is also a spin off manga called Omuro-ke which would make a great anime as well, but Yuru Yuri needs a season 4!

  • This is so fun! I watch it for therapy.
Whenever I want to feel good, I watch an episode of this.

The girl crushing is funny, especially with the nosebleed voyeur looking on and the crush recipient being seemingly clueless.

But it's mainly about the situations they create and then plunk these characters into. They'll put a heartwarming smile on your face, then switch it to a comedic guffaw, then back to heartwarming, then shaking ...

    Hilarious, and so, so wrong.
YuruYuri, translates directly to "Easygoing Lily", but translates more accurately to "Easygoing lesbians". And that's what it's about; a group of twelve and thirteen year old girls having mostly one-sided crushes on each other, with no heavy drama.
Don't be fooled though, this is no brainless or child safe slice of life show. It's really more like "The Simpsons" only not as harsh.
    The secret to ...
