    Great world building entirely wasted.
From the very first action scene, after the brief intro, I could tell the quality of this anime. Protagonists arrogantly posing in front of a hail of gunfire, without any moves to actually protect themselves, nonchalantly swatting mooks like they don't have a care in the world. And why should they? They've been equipped with titanium-reinforced plot armor! When RyuZU appears shortly thereafter, ...

    First Impressions of Clockwork Planet
Seeing as there are no reviews as of yet, I have decided to give a brief one.

Clockwork Planet presents it self in some typical shonen ways, and some nontypical ways. It has some elements of ecchi. The taste of action that the viewer is given in the beginning of the anime seems to be about average for a shonen, and in some ways isn't very representative of the rest of the episode which ...

This anime is just a waste.
It's a brilliant idea for world building and has great potential for character development, but the writing is so lazy and poor that the whole show has absolutely nothing os substance to offer. There is very vulgar fan service that does nothing to progress the story and the characters are 1 dimensional and boring. The gears and backgrounds are lovely, but the character animation is actually rather ...

Could be great, but will have to wait and see...
A quick overview without any actual spoilers. First, I never read the manga. I'm not a big manga fan and this review is based purely on my perspective from the anime.

Ep 1: A bit over the top on the ecchi fan service type elements, but with just enough plot elements to make me want continue watching.

Ep 2: Rounds out the intro and fleshes out the overall initial elements of the plot and ...

    ----Great--Anime----
This anime is very enticing, however, as you may see others critique it's plot. Clockwork Planet grasps the viewers attention with action & ecchi scenes. In short, this anime is great, & I hope it will continue being made. When season 2 comes out, I as well as many others, will be excited to preview the new season.

  • Flawed adaption of a decent manga
The show itself is OK and as a Fan I did enjoy it but, Bits of the manga are missed making it feel a bit disjointed and thus the characters feel different in the anime in comparison.
The world is very interesting and built well mostly keeping consistent with its own in-world rules.

  • Come on! half way through you moved away from the LN/manga
It was going great until they can't figure out how to end it in the last few episode and just added BS to everything to try to end the anime in a complete sense.... They could have just left it open ended instead of destroying something good the character animation was just mediocre

  • Acceptable headstart but what went wrong..?
The beginning was really not bad. RyuZu's character was awesome, didn't pay that much attention to MC-kun except for his extraordinary hearing . But somehow halfway along the way the story plot went downhill... In the anime they were trying to create a romcom couple between Naoto and RyuZu but... that didn't stay long.. I mean, what happen to them?! When AnchoR called Naoto Otou-san and the other ...

  • Tricky Time Travel Anime
This anime title hints that it is a time travel plot,
It is a 12 episode anime.

Clockwork Planet leaves out a bit,
it is not meant for nonspiritual observation.

Episode 11 shows the two prodigies sharing their skill and talent with each other.
This is known as a logic break.
