After 13 years, the saga continues.
For those who are new to this series, this is a continuation of an anime from 13 years ago. The story picks up where Full Metal Panic : Second Raid left off and I believe the plan is to finish adapting the main FMP Light novels.

Full Metal Panic is one of the first major light novel franchises to receive an Anime adaption. This story blends high school life, with a mecha series.

    Synopsis ...

OMFG I have been waiting! WAITING
I have been craving and needing this. I am so excited for this and glad they are trying to stay close to the original art style. The voice acting is different of course but to be expected after this time. It is a continuation of the previous seasons which are now on crunchyroll.

Great continuation of the saga, well done.
Overall, I give this show 4.5/5. Only issue is the voices completely mismatch the originals, but that's ascetics, I give it a full 5/5.

The story picks up basically right after the last season. The story pace is about the same as the old series, and the style is similar. Good for fan of the original and new ones. As of the first episode, this looks like a good series in a flood of new shows.

Without a doubt, a fitting installment to the series
In short: If you like gundam/mecha type animes with good plots, likable characters, quality animation, drama, etc. then give this one a try! But issues behind the scenes could make this the last installment of the show, so be wary of that!

    GOOD:
This new season delivers everything that a fan of the original series' could have wanted, and does so very effectively. There are no shortage of ...

    Appreciated, but disappointing.
I remember watching Full Metal Panic, Fumoffu, and Second Raid, not too long after they came out (maybe a year after Second Raid) It was one of the first anime series I've watched, and I was stoked that they were going to make additional episodes, continuing where the left off. The light novel's had been completed for years, and the author had written and completed another Full Metal Panic series ...

    It was worth the wait!
If you were (like me) crying, rolling around, beating your fists on the floor because FMP! seemed like it was never going to see the light of day again; Rejoice! Not only because it's here, but because it's excellent!

Picking up right away from The Second Raid, the story thrusts our two main protagonists right into the thick of danger that the previous seasons only hinted at. TSR displayed that ...

    A Hesitant 5, But 5 Nonetheless
Thirteen YEARS. It's practically at Duke Nukem levels of anticipation for those who grew up with Full Metal Panic!

First, some backstory: For many people, this is a series of nostalgia, one of the first mecha anime they could really sink their teeth into (outside of the obvious Gundam series, but that is always farther removed from modern day than FMP! was), and it delivered a fascinating story ...

    A conflicted 4 out of 5 stars
Let me start by saying that I love Full Metal Panic. I've watched all the previous anime entries and finished reading Sigma so I was super freaking excited when this popped up on the newly added shows for last season. The reason I'm conflicted is because I did enjoy this entry to the series, I felt it was well animated as well as acted and definitely added to the franchise as a whole. However the ...

    3.5 from a longtime fan
Let's be honest, this project clearly didn't get the faith or budget it deserved. In fact based solely on this I'd never hire XEBEC. It's almost a tragedy after KyoAni's gorgeous work on TSR.

They jammed three novels into 12 episodes, which wasn't ideal and resulted in less crucial details being left out. I can't help dwelling on where they could've cut down to optimize their time better. I ...

Finally! Full Metal Panic is coming to fruition as a serious anime!!
As of Episode 4, this season is finally shaping up what FMP is supposed to be! If you haven't read any of the Light Novels, keep watching. This series is only going to get more intense as time goes on and there will be some mind blowing ideas in the plot revealed that was hinted at in the first two seasons of the anime adaptation. Easily my favorite story in anime.
